Edward Fretwell Prichard Jr. (January 21, 1915 – December 23, 1984) was an American attorney and political advisor who served in numerous positions during the mid-1900s, and was referred to frequently as the intellectual force behind the Kentucky Democratic Party.

  • Brought Prichard to courthouse and capitol, inspiring his love of politics
  • Attended private school in Bourbon County for two years before closed; placed in fifth grade public school
