Deborah Gambrell Chambers is a judge in Mississippi. She was the eldest of six children. Her parents were educators and Needham Jones was her father. She went to Locker High School in Wiggins, Mississippi and the University of Southern Mississippi. While studying at Jackson School of Law (predecessor of Mississippi College School of Law) she was a mother of two children. She graduated cum laude.[1]
She was born in Jasper County, Mississippi.[2] She is married to Vincent Chambers and has six daughters. She was honored with House Resolution 70 in 2009. She has led legal groups, been part of various boards, and served with civic groups.[1] She lives in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
In 2014 she was inducted into the University of Southern Mississippi's Hall of Fame.[3] In 2022 she received a judicial excellence award.[4]
