Chi Re Nani is a 2025 Indian Odia-language musical romantic drama film produced by Sitaram Agrawalla & Namita Agrawal under Sidharth Music banner.The film is written & directed by Susant Mani.[1] It stars Sailendra Samantray and Sivani Sangita in the lead roles, alongside actor Dipanwit Dash Mohapatra, who plays the antagonist in the film.[2] The movie's songs are from a 2000s album "Baliful", of which all songs were composed and written by Late Sri Satya Adhikari. The songs are recreated by Asad Nizam.

Chi Re Nani is set to release theatrically on 1 August 2025.[3]

Plot

Chi Re Nani is a raw and emotional love story set in rural Odisha, where Kanha, a rebellious village boy, falls for Kusum, an innocent girl from a strict and powerful family.

Their love grows through tender, passionate moments, but faces fierce resistance at every turn, with Kusum's brother Ramakant hounding Kanha and his love at each turn. As emotions flare and loyalties are tested, the story unfolds into a gripping tale of innocence, rebellion, and heartbreaking sacrifice.[4]

The music album consists of 5 songs, composed & written by Late Sri Satya Adhikari, and the recreated songs were made by Asad Nizam.

Singers include Humane Sagar, Kuldeep Pattnaik, R.S Kumar, Satyajeet Pradhan, Aseema Panda, Arpita Choudhury. The plot of the movie is inspired from the massively viral superhit song "Chhi Chhi Chhi Re Nani" which has garnered more than 100M likes on YouTube alone.[6][7] The song itself is from the 1995's Koraputia album called "Bali Ful" , in which Late Sri Satya Adhikari has composed, written as well as sung most of the songs along with the female singer Niharika Pattnaik.

All tracks are written by Satya Adhikari.
