The Centrist Party of Canada (Parti Centriste du Canada) is a minor federal political party in Canada that advocates for centrist and pragmatic policies.[1] Founded in 2020 by Toronto neurologist Dr. A.Q. Rana,[2] the party was created as a response to growing political polarization and aims to offer a balanced alternative to both the traditional left and right.[3] It emphasizes transparency, fiscal responsibility, and democratic reform. The party is officially registered with Elections Canada but has not yet won any seats in the House of Commons.[4]
