Aziz Orujov (Azerbaijani: Aziz Orucov; born 3 January 1984) is an Azerbaijani journalist, media manager and co-founder of the independent internet broadcaster Kanal 13.
Known for coverage of human-rights issues and government criticism, he has faced repeated prosecution by Azerbaijani authorities and, since February 2025, is serving a two-year prison sentence on “illegal construction” charges that press-freedom groups call politically motivated. [1]
