Ariel John Aaron Saunders[1] ( Born 3rd May 1996 ) is a Trinidadian politician and philanthropist. [2] He ran his maiden campaign as an independent candidate in the 2021 Local Government By-Election contesting the electoral district of Hindustan/St. Mary’s. [3]
Early life and EducationSaunders was born in St. Mary's Moruga, Trinidad and Tobago. He attended Cowen Hamilton Secondary School and later attended U.W.I St. Augustine where he graduated with a BSc. Bachelor of Science in Political Science (Major) International Relations & Public Sector Management (Minors). He also received his MBA Master of Business Administration in Project Management at the same institution.
Philanthropic Work
Saunders also is known for his philanthropic ventures most notably with his initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic when he started a project to feed less fortunate families.[4]
