For the school year of 2024-2025, Angela Qiao served as treasurer for the Class of 2028. The basic roles of treasurer include:

• setting prices for fundraisers
• making sure fundraiser are making enough profit
• depositing money into the Class of 2028 bank account
• assisting the other officers when help is needed

Not only did Qiao fulfill all of these tasks, she stepped in when other officers couldn't fulfill their roles. She completed tasks such as running the class' Instagram, actively advertising for events, organizing the events, obtaining supplies, and making flyers. This year, HPHS 2028 made around $1,500 from the following events:

• Weekly snack sales (every Tuesday)
• Haunted House
• DoubleGood Popcorn
• Spiritwear sale
• Freshman T-Shirts
• Dodgeball Tournament
• Soak-a-Freshie

For next year, to-be President Qiao has learned several lessons and tips from the past fundraisers, and she has an idea of what will be successful or what won't be successful. A few ideas she will be implementing are:

• Badminton tournament (play as doubles)
• Food eating contest
• Biweekly (every other week) snack sales
• Increased social media posts
• Movie/game nights targeting Bartle students and parents
• Increased participation from the student body in decision making

Ideas are important, but so is execution of the ideas. Qiao has more experience with planning events than any of the other candidates; she is familiar with the procedures for approval and can handle logistical responsibilities. Execution makes or breaks a fundraiser. Keep these in mind when voting.
