Alfateen Bin Hussein Albaddad is an Emirati businessman and investor. He is the chairman and co-founder of Albaddad Group, a company active in construction, manufacturing, and other sectors in the Middle East and internationally. Albaddad is also known for his involvement in media and philanthropic initiatives, particularly in Jordan.[1]

Career

[edit]

In 1991, Albaddad co-founded the Albaddad Group with his brother Zayed Albaddad, expanding their family business across sectors including construction, event services, and logistics. In 2003, they launched Albaddad Capital, a company focused on fast-track construction solutions, including temporary and semi-permanent structures.[2]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Albaddad Group implemented modular hospital solutions aimed at reducing construction costs and timelines. These initiatives were deployed in emergency and healthcare settings across the region.[3]

Awards and recognition

[edit]

Albaddad Capital has received several Guinness World Records for its large-scale temporary structures. In 2016, the company was recognized for constructing the largest warehouse of its kind. Additional records were obtained in 2023 and 2024 for projects including the MACCA marquee, one of the largest modular structures ever built.[4][5]
