Adrian Laza (born 30 November 1963) is a Romanian - Canadian high-altitude mountaineer, forestry engineer, entrepreneur and motivational speaker.

On 9 October 2024, he made history by becoming the first ever Romanian and the first ever Canadian man to climb all 14 eight-thousanders mountains, accomplishing this feat over eight years. Globally, he became the 60th person to achieve this milestone.[1] [2][3][4][5][6][7]

Adrian was 60 years and 10 months old when he reached the summit of Shishapangma[8], his final 8,000m peak, making him the second-oldest person to complete all 14 eight-thousanders—behind Òscar Cadiach, who achieved the feat in 2017 at age 64. His success at an old age for mountaineering was made possible by a rigorous training and nutrition program, along with exceptional resilience and endurance. [9][10][11]

He was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of the City of Piatra Neamt în 2024, after climbing on Shishapangma summit.[12]
