Submission declined on 1 June 2025 by Ca (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Comment: Most of the cited articles are very quote-heavy and only details his eight-thousanders achievement. There is insufficient information about the subject in reliable sources to create a fully-fledged article. Ca talk to me! 12:24, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
Comment: See WP:COI. Also, the article cites Wikipedia, which is a unreliable source. WormEater13 (talk • contribs) 17:06, 31 May 2025 (UTC)

Adrian Laza (born 30 November 1963) is a Romanian - Canadian high-altitude mountaineer, forestry engineer, entrepreneur and motivational speaker.
On 9 October 2024, he made history by becoming the first ever Romanian and the first ever Canadian man to climb all 14 eight-thousanders mountains, accomplishing this feat over eight years. Globally, he became the 60th person to achieve this milestone.[1] [2][3][4][5][6][7]
Adrian was 60 years and 10 months old when he reached the summit of Shishapangma[8], his final 8,000m peak, making him the second-oldest person to complete all 14 eight-thousanders—behind Òscar Cadiach, who achieved the feat in 2017 at age 64. His success at an old age for mountaineering was made possible by a rigorous training and nutrition program, along with exceptional resilience and endurance. [9][10][11]
He was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of the City of Piatra Neamt în 2024, after climbing on Shishapangma summit.[12]
