Adnan Mohamed is an American political strategist with extensive experience in U.S. presidential and state-level campaigns. He has served in senior roles for Democratic candidates including Joe Biden, Beto O’Rourke, Mike Bloomberg, Seth Moulton, Ralph Northam, and Mark Herring. He is currently Director of Political Advertising at Cox Media in Washington, D.C.

Early life and education

Mohamed was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Arabic Studies, from Texas A&M University in 2013. He later received a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from American University in Washington, D.C. in 2015, where he was awarded a Graduate Honor Scholarship.

From 2015 to 2017, Mohamed worked on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Correspondent and Aide to U.S. Representative Don Beyer of Virginia. His portfolio included technology, natural resources, and intelligence. Campaign roles
