Submission declined on 26 March 2025 by Sophisticatedevening (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Declined by Sophisticatedevening 3 months ago. | ![]() |

2xFE (read as "Two-F-E") is a five-member Japanese male vocal and dance group. Their fan name is 2xME (Two-Me).
Overview
[edit]The name 2xFE stands for "Future From East End," representing their vision of spreading music from Japan to the world.[1][2]
On August 31, 2023, they held a self-produced live event called "PENTATONIC PARTY" at CHIC HALL SHIBUYA in Tokyo and officially announced the start of their group activities.[3][4]
Although a debut showcase was scheduled for December 29, 2023, it was postponed to March 25, 2024 due to three members (Ayumu, Rio, Rui) contracting influenza.
On September 21, 2024, the group held their largest one-man live concert at an undisclosed location in Tokyo.
The group name is often stylized as "2xFE" (with a lowercase x), but some platforms like Apple Music display it as "2×FE." Both stylizations are used interchangeably on their social media.

"Buri and Kawauso" Video Incident
[edit]On March 27, 2024, a video of Rui and Hikari playing Super Smash Bros. was uploaded to 2xFE's official TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. The video sparked controversy due to its resemblance to content by TikToker/YouTuber "Buri and Kawauso." However, on April 1, it was revealed via a video on Buri and Kawauso's channel that the similarity was due to a planned collaboration.
Hikari's Global Audition Challenge
[edit]In January 2025, Hikari participated as a contestant in the large-scale audition show "Chuang Asia: Season 2," produced by Tencent Video in China. The show features 60 international contestants competing. On his personal SNS, he shared videos performing 2xFE songs with contestants from various countries.[14]
