2009 Cheverolet Corvette ZR1 1G1YY26R295700012 is a "Pre-Production" validation build vehicle. This unit was built and owned by General Motors Corporation. The car was built on 6/3/2008 at the Bowling Green Corvette Assembly plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The car was assigned to the Corvette marketing manager (Harlan Charles) and was used for multiple Media and Promotional events such as: -The 2009 Detroit International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. -Multiple automotive industry magazine articles & photo shoots. -Several promotional events (Corvette Museum) (Bondurant driving press event) (ZR1 vs Navy Jet race event) (2009 Woodward Dream Cruise GM display) The engine was hand assembled In May/2009 by GM Lead Assembly Engineering Manager, Thomas Dolson at the Wixom Performance Build Center in Wixom, Michigan.
The car is now privately owned in Michigan.
