Stochastic Drift[1] is the second studio album[2] by British-born producer Barker, released on April 3, 2025, and April 4, 2025, on other platforms[3] by Smalltown Supersound.[4][5][6][7][8] Featuring eight songs, the album received critical reception from multiple publications, including Metacritic, AllMusic,[9] Pitchfork.[10][4] The album is a follow up to 2019's Utility.[11] The album charted and peaked at number 15, 17, and 41 on different charts.[12][13][14] The album was supported by only one single, "Reframing".[15][16]

Harry Tafoya of Pitchfork described the album as a "synthesis", expanding saying, Barker navigates extremes, touching between chaos and mediated technology.[10]
