Ayshath Zeenath Beevi (born 6 June 1997)known professionally as just Aysha (also Ayesha), is an Indian actress who primarily appears in Tamil language films and TV series. She began her TV career in Tamil through Ponmagal Vanthal in 2018. She later appeared in the critically acclaimed TV serial Sathya.[2][3]

Career

Once during her college days, Ayesha participated in the reality show "Ready Steady Po" which aired on Star Vijay in 2017 officially debuting her career. Her first debut as lead project was Maya which aired in Sun TV in 2018 by replacing the lead character formerly played by Shwetha Hegde as Rani Lakshmi Prabhavati & Darshini. Then she appeared in her 2018 second project Ponmagal Vanthal where she played the role of Rohini in Star Vijay but later replaced by Meghna Vincent due some issues with the director.[4] Later, she debut in her first Telugu project of Star maa as Nandhini the lead character in Savitramma Gari Abbayi which aired on 2019 - 2020 but later replaced by Supritha Sathyanarayanan as face transplant track in serial. Then she appeared as Sathya a tomboy opposite Vishnu as main lead in Sathya (TV series) 2019 - 2021 and Sathya season 2 a sequel from 2021 - 2022 in Zee Tamil.[5] The serial and the pair became critically acclaimed and liked among fans and viewers.[6] It also gained her a massive popularity and won several awards for the role. She also did some Cameo appearance as Sathya in channel's other serials and appeared as Goddess Meenakshi in Sembaruthi. Meanwhile, she was appeared as a contestant in the fashion-reality show Super Queen which also aired on Zee Tamil in 2021 where she emerged as the 2nd runner up of the show.[7] Then she participated in Star Vijay reality show Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6 2022 and evicted on the day of 63.[8] Then she played the main lead opposite Nikhil Maliyakkal in Oorvasivo Rakshasivo as Durga/Vaishnavi which aired on Star maa in 2023 - 2024. Meanwhile, she participated in the same channel's show Kiraack Boys Khiladi Girls season 1 behalf of girls team and ended up as Runner-up. Later, she appeared on Disney+Hotstar series as Advocate Chinmayi in Uppu Puli Kaaram a Korean series remake of My Father is Strange in 2024. The series gained popularity and liked among the audiences. Again She appeared on Zee Tamil in 2024 as an Anchor for a cooking show Samayal Express Season 1 with judges Krishna Mckenzie and Sujitha. Apart from TV presences she also appeared in YouTube series, short films, music videos. Currently, in 2025 she's also playing as lead in a Tamil YouTube series Thaara as Thaara along with Puvi Arasu which is produced by Vision Time India a well known production house.

On 21 November 2024, she officially announced her big screen debut as the main female lead of Malayalam movie Dr. Bennat. In 2025, She's also playing an important role in Lawyer a upcoming Tamil film of Vijay Antony as lead.

Personal life

On 14 February 2023, Ayesha became engaged to Yogesh aka Yogi but broken off.[9]
